Waitaki Flight School is a non-profit organisation at the Oamaru airport and is owned and run by the North Otago Aero Club (NOAC). Despite being non-profit, our instructors are professional and of the highest calibre, yet at the same time we can offer cheap rates for learning to fly and hour building towards commercial qualifications.
We are the place to go to learn to fly (click here for more information) whether you want to just give it a go with our $99 trial flight - a good 20 mins over Oamaru, or want to gain a full pilots license. You can get a Private license for fun, or if you want to start a great career you can get a Commercial Pilots License with the option of an Instructor Rating to gain valuable experience.
Flying is an experience everyone should experience at least once! Trial flights are a great way to achieve a memory you will not forget. They make the perfect present.
